With a unique 31cm tall interior and narrow width, the Roadie is small enough to fit almost anywhere, but big enough to hold everything you need for a long drive. You can stand up 1.25L soft drink bottles, champagne and wine bottles, while 375ml cans fit exactly on their side.

Can I use the Roadie as a freezer?
What size battery do I need for the Roadie 15L?
We recommend a 100Ah deep cycle (AGM) or 60Ah lithium. This will run the Roadie 15L for three days and nights.
How many watts of solar do I need for the Roadie 15L?
To run the Roadie 15L you will need approximately 200W of solar paired with a 100Ah AGM or 60Ah lithium battery.
Can the Roadie 15L lid open from either side?
Yes! The hinges on the Roadie 15L can be easily moved from one side to the other.
Does the Roadie 15L work as a centre console?
Yes it does. As every car is different, you will need to measure how much space you have between your seats to see if the Roadie 15L will fit your car. Also check online, there are a few aftermarket companies that make centre console kits for the Roadie 15L.
Does the Roadie 15L have battery protection settings?
Yes the Roadie has battery protection settings. We set these very low, so your fridge does not turn off unnecessarily until your auxiliary battery is very low. Cut-in 10.9V. Cut-out 9.6V.
How many 375ml cans fit in the Roadie 15L?
You can fit 20 x 375ml cans in the Roadie 15L.
Can I stand up a wine bottle or soft drink bottle in the Roadie 15L?
Yes you can! The Roadie is 310mm high on the inside so you can stand up wine bottles and soft drink bottles.
Is there a transit cover for the Roadie 15L?
Yes, the Roadie 15L transit cover is available as an accessory at any time.
How do I secure the Roadie 15L in my vehicle?
A tie-down and carry kit is available to secure the Bushman Roadie 15L in your vehicle. This kit includes 2 metal saddles, 2 cam buckle straps and a shoulder carry strap.
Can I run the Bushman Roadie 15L from 240V mains power?
The Roadie 15L is a dedicated 12V / 24V DC fridge. To run from 240V, you will need a 240V to 12V transformer. We sell these here.
Is the Roadie a replacement for an Engel MD17 15L?
Since Engel discontinued their MD17 15L fridge, we have many customers using the Bushman Roadie 15L instead. Note the external dimensions are different.
