Does the door on the Bushman DC225L-X protrude past the outside of the fridge cabinet when it is opened at 90˚?
The door on the Bushman DC225L-X is curved outwards in the centre. When the door is opened 90˚ the centre of the door protrudes 25mm past the edge of the fridge.
Can I fit 2L milk bottles in the Bushman DC225L-X door?
Yes! You can easily fit 2L milk bottles in the door of the Bushman DC225L-X.
I need to get my fridge into a caravan, how wide or deep is the DC225L-X fridge with the doors removed?
The total depth of DC225L-X is only 525mm with the doors removed.
How big are the shelves in the Bushman DC225L-X?
The wire shelves in the Bushman DC225L-X fridge are approximately W 480mm x D 240mm; and the wire shelves in the freezer are approximately W 430mm x D 260mm.
What are the freezer dimensions for the Bushman DC225L-X?
The Bushman DC225L-X freezer dimensions are approximately W 440mm x D 300mm x H 330mm. Please note the freezer has slightly rounded corners.
What size battery do I need for the Bushman DC225L-X?
We recommend a 240Ah deep cycle (AGM) or 140Ah lithium. The Bushman DC225L-X will run for at least three days and nights.
How many watts of solar do I need for the Bushman DC225L-X?
We recommend approximately 400W of solar paired with a 240Ah AGM or 140Ah lithium battery for a Bushman DC225L-X.
Can the doors on the Bushman DC225L-X open from either side?
Yes! You can move the hinges from the right side to the left side on the Bushman DC225L-X. The door latch can also be moved to accommodate this.
What colours do the Bushman DC225L-X come in?
The Bushman DC225L-X is only available in black.
Can I run the Bushman DC225L-X from 240V power?
Yes you can operate the Bushman DC225L-X on 240V power by using a 240V to 12V transformer. However most of our customers choose to run their fridge from their 12V battery bank all the time. When they have access to 240V AC power, they plug in their battery charger to maintain their battery bank.
I need to replace a Dometic RM4805 3-way fridge, will the Bushman DC225L-X fit?
You will have enough width and depth, but may need an extra 35mm in height to replace the Dometic RM4805 gas fridge with a Bushman DC225L-X.
I need to replace a Dometic RPD218 12V fridge, will the Bushman DC225L-X fit?
Yes, the Bushman DC225L-X is a direct swap replacement for the Dometic RPD218 12V fridge.
